I am sitting at my desk at lunch and realizing I have a lot to do for Christmas still. I have a handful of cards to still get out, and some gifts to still buy.
And I am blessed beyond reason to have a great new job, making more than my last one. It has kind of saved the holidays for us.
To my friends, face-to-face as well as online, that are without work, you are in my prayers.
In the meantime, another friend had to have an appendectomy, and we postponed our holiday dinner with them and other friends. I hope she gets back to normal soon.
To celebrate the job, we tried a new restaurant in Centerville, Ohio, called Rue Dumaine. It’s a very cool French bistro with great food. Chef Anne stopped and talked, and we really liked the place. I didn’t take my camera so my wife could just enjoy, but I’ll be back, maybe with other bloggers, to try more!
If I am not posting much over the next week, have a very merry Christmas!

Happy holidays Bucky and friends, Thanks for the mention. We all have so much to be thankful for as we approch a New Year. Have a wonderful holiday…bring your camera with you next time:).
Anne
Anne, I hope you have a great holiday, too! We really did enjoy the place; I didn’t post a link to http://www.ruedumainerestaurant.com, because I was afraid to try typing that on my iphone! But I look forward to doing a more visual presentation of the restaurant.
Curt,
I’ve really enjoyed your wonderful blog - I’ve been reading it for the best two years, and it’s amazing.
Congratulations on getting a new job.
Happy Holidays,
Lori
Lori,
Thanks for stopping by and saying hi; comments like that make my day!
And on another note, make sure to reward yourself… and let your husband know! I bet he’ll want to make sure you get ‘you’ time.
Have a great Holiday, and thanks for sticking with me and my ramblings.
