Turkeypres
Now that Thanksgiving Day is over, I’d like to try to get a bit of cooperation from readers…  I want to find out what recipes, techniques, etc., were used this year that were done because of reading about it online.

Here’s one that I did this year…

Before cooking the turkey, I laid it breast side down on some ice, with plastic around the bird to keep it from getting wet.  This allowed the turkey breast to stay cooler than the rest of the turkey.  When it cooked, the whole bird got done at the same time instead of the breast being overdone when the dark meat got done.  The results were great, and this is a step I won’t forget again.  Where did I get the idea?  From the BBQ Brethren site!

So now it’s your turn…  What did you do this year that you read about online, and where did you read about it?
