How did I come up with the name "Bucky McOinkum’s Barbecue"?

It’s
not a big deal, really; I was awake in bed at about 4:00 am one
morning, and it kind of hit me.  Bucky is from my favorite current
comic strip… extra points to the first one that names it… and I
didn’t want Bubba or something along those lines.  McOinkum’s is a
derivative of my last name.  I went back to sleep, and after I got up,
I still liked the name, and it kind of stuck.

I called the blog
Bucky’s Barbecue Blog just for the alliteration; there is no ‘Bucky’.
In the next couple of weeks, I’m working on getting a website up, too,
that will include some photos from competitions.
